The Reserve at Lake Keowee honored again as one of South Carolina’s Top 50 Golf Courses

March 15, 2010 by Bo Bowden

With views and waters to temp the best of rounds, #15 has become the signature hole for this Jack Nicklaus masterpiece.

The Reserve's 7,112-yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Course (74.2 Rating, 142 Slope) enjoys sweeping Blue Ridge Mountain views across Lake Keowee.

The South Carolina Golf Course Rating Panel began selecting the Top 50 golf courses in the state in 2005. Criteria used in the judging includes course routing, variety, strategy, equity, memorability, aesthetics and experience. The 2010 list was announced this past weekend at the panel’s annual awards dinner at Seabrook Island Resort. The Reserve at Lake Keowee has appeared on this list since it began, and joins prestigious courses such as Harbour Town Golf Links, host of the Verizon Heritage, once again as one of South Carolina’s best courses for 2010.
