Video: Sights and Sounds from Greenville’s 2010 Arts Weekend—ARTISPHERE

GREENVILLE – Main Street was a great place to be last weekend for the 2010 Artisphere festival. Crowds of fun-seekers, expected to number more than 100,000, enjoyed free entertainment, culinary arts, and three days of picture-perfect weather to enjoy and purchase art from more than 120 artists. The six-year-old festival has already received national recognition, ranking sixth out of 600 fine arts festivals in Greg Lawler’s Art Fair Sourcebook, up from 46th in 2008. The 2010 festival has been named one of the top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society, its third such honor.

The Reserve at Lake Keowee partnered with ARTISPHERE to sponsor an Artist-in-Residence getaway contest in the festival’s VIP Hospitality tent. Read more here to learn more about how The Reserve supports the arts.
