The Reserve at Lake Keowee Charitable Foundation
is pleased to announce its 2013 Outreach Recipients:

Feed a Hungry Child – Pickens County

Helping Hands Children’s Shelter

Pickens County Meals on Wheels

Prevent Child Abuse – Pickens County

Pickens Senior Center

Chosen annually by the Community Foundation Board of Directors after nominees are voted on by the members of The Reserve at Lake Keowee, these organizations are the beneficiaries of all fundraising proceeds collected by The Reserve at Lake Keowee Charitable Foundation during 2013. The Charitable Foundation’s annual donation is funded by a portion of all Real Estate sales, the proceeds from our annual Charitable Golf Classic (scheduled for October 22), and ‒ new to us this year ‒ proceeds from the 2013 BMW Charity Pro-Am Tournament taking place May 13-19.

Volunteer for the 2013 BMW Charity Pro-Am—
A tournament this size requires a host of volunteers to be successful, and the RLK Charitable Foundation is rewarded for each volunteer we bring on board. Sign-ups have already begun and it is simple to get involved using the online registration formPLEASE NOTE: you must designate “The Reserve at Lake Keowee Charitable Foundation” as your organization of choice to guarantee we will get credit for your time.

About Kathryn Coleman-Gravely

Kathryn is originally from Asheville, NC and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. After living in Tennessee for several years, she moved to Pickens County in 1985. Our director of The Reserve at Lake Keowee Community Foundation has been a part of our staff since 2004 when she worked with the Club as Membership and Special Events Coordinator. In 2007 Kathryn accepted the position of full time Foundation director. Kathryn is an avid hiker and history buff, as well as appreciative of the culture available here in Upstate, South Carolina. Her enthusiasm is translated into the many varied offerings provided by the Community Foundation that include environment, education, culture, and outreach.
