This Course Has Jack’s Name Written All Over It.

The lake and mountains are in play at The ReserveBehold the mastery of Jack Nicklaus.
Each day breaks gloriously on the course that Jack designed here on Lake Keowee. Through 20 majors, more than 100 professional wins and countless memorable moments, the name Jack Nicklaus has been associated with greatness. A quality that has transferred to four decades of outstanding course design. Though all his courses exhibit Jack’s signature touch, as a member of The Reserve community this is the one you can call your very own.

“I really co-designed the course with Mother Nature—complementing the gorgeous, natural features already here. It was my job to find the course hidden in the hills and along the lake.” — Jack Nicklaus

The Reserve at Lake Keowee Jack Nicklaus Golf CourseNicklaus prides himself on creating courses that enhance the natural environment and are both challenging and enjoyable for players of all levels. One round on our Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course (the first one in Upstate South Carolina) and you’ll agree he’s achieved that here. The course winds through the incredible landscape around Lake Keowee, along lush rolling foothills, through dense forests, following mountain streams and taking full advantage of the signature holes along the lakeshore.

At The Reserve you’ll enjoy year-round golf and outstanding practice facilities. You’ll also enjoy our award-winning clubhouse, the Orchard House. This 20,000 square foot clubhouse features men’s and women’s locker rooms with card rooms and lounge space, a pro-shop, casual and upscale dining, a full-service bar and a long veranda overlooking the 1st and 19th holes where you can relive every shot.

Everyone’s home course should be this good!

Last Friday, September 23, The Reserve at Lake Keowee was proud to host Clemson University’s largest annual fundraiser for its golf team – the 9th Annual Tiger Golf Gathering. The Tiger Golf Gathering is a weekend of fun events, beginning with a Pro-Am tournament on our award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and ending with a VIP Silent Auction Party on campus, that have helped fund a total renovation of the Clemson’s golf facilities, including a “second to none” practice area.

This year’s event was especially meaningful as the Clemson Golf Team and its supporters celebrated the grand opening of the course’s Larry B. Penley, Jr. Golf House, a 7,700 square feet, three-story “clubhouse” that will become the home for Clemson University’s golf team.

A total of 108 players participated from across the country. Among those in attendance at this year’s Gathering were Clemson golf alumni and 2009 U.S. Open Champion Lucas Glover and PGA TOUR Professional Kyle Stanley.
