PGA Magazine’s cover story highlights the value of The Reserve’s new multi-generational Legacy Membership

Featured

Our new multi-generational Legacy Membership continues to earn national recognition. PGA Magazine, the official publication of the PGA of America, features The Reserve at Lake Keowee in a “best-practices” showcase of leading private clubs and how they are retaining and growing their membership in today’s challenging economy. The April cover story—It’s all about the Value—begins “Families in 2011 are not recreating the way they did in 1961. They want connection, and they spend the limited time they have together combating the forces that pull them apart. They want options for every member of the family, not just dad. And they want value.”

NEWS from Lake Keowee: Stepping Up Club Communications

Club Communications: “Stepping it up a Notch”
The 2011 Calendar of Events has more activities than ever before, and we know it’s hard for you to keep up with it! So, we are adding yet another way to communicate with alerts that go straight to your mobile phone.

The Reserve at Lake Keowee Club is in the process of asking our Members to sign up for our newest communication effort; “Mobile Messaging,” commonly known as “Texting.”

We understand how important it is to stay in touch with you, and we do realize that checking email is not always convenient. Starting this month, we will be implementing a text message broadcast system as a more effective way to communicate urgent messages, updates and other important information… right to your pocket!

How to Sign Up and Customize your Alerts:
With the Text Broadcast System you will have the opportunity to customize the text messages that are of interest to you and your family.  Very much like you can do with our Club Broadcast E-Mail system. The subscription process is completed simply by sending a text from your cell phone. The number of texts that are sent out will be limited.  If you sign up to receive notifications from all departments you may receive 3 to 5 messages a week.  There is an option at the bottom of each text message received to stop the messages at any time.

Visit the For Our Members section of The Reserve website for simple directions that explain how to sign up and customize you alerts. If you have any questions about subscribing, please call the Club office at 864-869-2100.

Other Ways to Stay Informed:

Honoring the Family Experience: The Reserve introduces the multi-generational Legacy Membership

Three Generations of the Hudson Family Celebrate the Legacy Membership!

New multi-generation membership benefits honor the importance of family experiences
With a focus on the family, The Reserve at Lake Keowee has introduced its Legacy Membership, an incredible expansion of benefits to the community’s Full and Premier Members. The Reserve’s Legacy Membership now allows Members to extend their membership privileges beyond their spouses and minor children to include their parents, adult children, and grandchildren. Existing members need only complete a Family Registration Form to activate their Legacy benefits.

“We have always been a very family-oriented community and have tried hard to cater to the desires of members and to carry out our promise and vision as a place to create family legacies,” explains Chuck Pigg, VP of Greenwood Communities and Resorts and Community Manager of The Reserve. “Upon reflecting on our 10th Anniversary year, we recognized once again how important it is to our members to share The Reserve with their families. We felt that one of the best things that we could do to enhance the membership value for our existing and future members and further our commitment to family was to offer membership privileges to the parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren of the member. What better way to say we are committed to family.”

Invite your Family to Share The Reserve Lifestyle: The Facts about The Reserve’s NEW Legacy Membership

The Hudson Family -- three generations of Lake Keowee enthusiasts!

The Reserve at Lake Keowee Members are very excited about the recent announcement of the Legacy Membership. We’re hearing nothing but rave reviews, and getting a lot of questions about how to sign up and get started!

Legacy Membership Overview:
In a nutshell, the Legacy Membership is simply an extension of your privileges as a Full or Premier Member of The Reserve at Lake Keowee Club. That’s right—now your family members can be added to your membership account and receive full access to the property and all The Reserve amenities… that includes golfing, boating, dining, lodging, and even inviting their own guests. The Legacy Membership privileges only extend vertically in your lineage, so your parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren can all take advantage. However, the Legacy Membership does not apply to your siblings, aunts and uncles, etc.

The McKinney Family enjoys events like the Memorial Weekend "Blessing of the Fleet Celebration"

Membership Privileges begin the Minute you Register:
No waiting! Beginning immediately, the Legacy membership is available to all Full/Premier Members. The Primary member can now register their  family and extend all member privileges to the following family members:

How to Register your Family Members:
To take advantage of the member privileges your family members must be registered in advance. Registration is simple, but each additional member must have their picture taken at the Concierge desk or email a photo and complete the official registration form.  Forms and pictures should be returned to Becky Weedman, Membership Coordinator, at becky@reservekeowee.com or fax forms to 864-869-2110.
