Video and Photos: 2nd Annual “Jingle All the Way” Boat Caroling on Lake Keowee

Ho Ho Ho Your Boats!

In a tradition unto itself, residents of The Reserve at Lake Keowee enjoyed their 2nd Annual “Jingle All the Way” boat caroling event, “dashing through the lake” amid warm 60-degree temperatures in merry spirit and festive fun.

Four boats carrying 37 carolers participated in this year’s event, which consisted of four planned stops at different Reserve owners’ docks decorated for the occasion. Singing traditional Christmas songs along the way, the carolers docked at sunset at The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s Marina, and walked up to The Village’s Market to enjoy warm house made soups and sandwiches.

The evening ended around a roaring fire, roasting s’mores for dessert. If ever there were a portrait of a quintessential Christmas evening (with a twist), it could certainly have been here.

Honoring the Family Experience: The Reserve introduces the multi-generational Legacy Membership

Three Generations of the Hudson Family Celebrate the Legacy Membership!

New multi-generation membership benefits honor the importance of family experiences
With a focus on the family, The Reserve at Lake Keowee has introduced its Legacy Membership, an incredible expansion of benefits to the community’s Full and Premier Members. The Reserve’s Legacy Membership now allows Members to extend their membership privileges beyond their spouses and minor children to include their parents, adult children, and grandchildren. Existing members need only complete a Family Registration Form to activate their Legacy benefits.

“We have always been a very family-oriented community and have tried hard to cater to the desires of members and to carry out our promise and vision as a place to create family legacies,” explains Chuck Pigg, VP of Greenwood Communities and Resorts and Community Manager of The Reserve. “Upon reflecting on our 10th Anniversary year, we recognized once again how important it is to our members to share The Reserve with their families. We felt that one of the best things that we could do to enhance the membership value for our existing and future members and further our commitment to family was to offer membership privileges to the parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren of the member. What better way to say we are committed to family.”
