Crowds gathered at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) on Saturday to welcome Southwest Airlines to the Upstate. The inaugural flight from Dallas landed shortly after 3pm, piloted by Clemson University alumni Bert Godwin and John Lawton. Commercial service began Sunday including seven daily non-stop flights to/from Washington/Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Orlando and Nashville.
“We were thrilled to learn that a low-cost, customer service-focused airline would fly directly from BWI into Greenville,” says Reserve Members and Maryland residents Janet and Leonard Nardone. “Now we can get to a town we love more easily and, best of all, bring the people we love with us! We plan to fly from BWI to GSP, enjoy a short, scenic drive to our home at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, and invite our friends and family along with us. The ease of an affordable, direct flight from our hometown to our favorite relaxation spot means more than I can say.”
Visiting Lake Keowee has never been easier. Take advantage of these new flights and low-fares during your Real Estate Discovery Visit to The Reserve.
